Cara’s Cabin is an authentic log cabin built in the 1800’s and is part of the Ephraim Historical Foundation. It is the coziest log cabin in all of Ephraim with tons of old and new features. Nestled up against 26 acres of walking trails of the Door County Land Trust! Perfect for a romantic couple’s getaway, a solo trip, or any vacation with 4 people or less!

The Door County Land Trust is right in our backyard. Hike, walk your dog, snow shoe, cross county ski, bird watch, and enjoy the scenery! We have also provided bikes and kayaks for you and your company to enjoy! All free to use during your stay.

LIVING ARRANGEMENTS:
-The cabin is open-concept studio style featuring a queen bed and a full-size futon couch – absolutely perfect for 2 guests but can sleep up to 4. We have a full bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, back deck overlooking the woods, and a propane fireplace! Free wifi and cable TV provided for your comfort and convenience! Fully stocked coffee area with a regular and Keurig machine + all the fixings for your favorite cup.

OUTDOOR FUN:
-We provide two Oragami (fold up) kayaks with paddles & life jackets, two bikes, fishing gear, a fire pit, and a gas grill! There is outdoor seating in front of the cabin and on the balcony overlooking the nature preserve!

WORK FROM HOME:
-Laptop-friendly workspace from the futon and coffee table! We are happy to provide free wifi!

DOG & KID FRIENDLY:
-We provide a dog crate, dog bed, toys, leashes, and more for your furry friend! Pet fee is $35/day per dog (fee applied AFTER you book!) For the kiddos we have a pack ‘n play, high chair, and kids utensils for your convenience!

LOCATION:
-Cara’s Cabin is located on the same property as Chatham Hills, another vacation rental property. While you have your own private entrance, driveway, and parking, you will be near another property. The cabin is easily accessible to everything Ephraim Village & Sister Bay has to offer. A one minute drive or 10 minute walk to downtown!
