Welcome to Milky Way Hideaway – a fully renovated cabin on the shores of Lake Michigan in GORGEOUS Algoma, WI – right on the door steps of Door County. This pristine cabin has been renovated top to bottom with brand new finishes and furniture. Luxury amenities such as a hot tub, towel warmer, and Solo Stove just scratch the surface of all this cabin has to offer. We call our place Milky Way Hideaway because the views of our galaxy are literally “out of this world.” The stars light up the sky, and when the time is right, the northern lights can be seen. Milky Way Hideaway sleeps up to 8 guests (with 5 beds) and is infant/child/dog friendly!!

Enjoy 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, a gorgeous screened-in 3 seasons room with insane views of the lake and lush greenery, a spotless kitchen, a laundry area, plus our EXCLUSIVE Adventure Shed! We provide kayaks, bikes, outdoor games, fishing gear, and more! Warm up by the fire inside or outside! We have a Solo Stove in the backyard plus a gas stove in the living room! If you bring the kids they will have plenty to do – books, games, a high chair, pack ‘n play and tons of other gear to help you out on your trip will be available during your stay! There is tons of outdoor seating around the fireplace, plus we have a propane grill! Don’t forget about our GORGEOUS hot tub overlooking the lake!

We are close to downtown Algoma and about 15 minutes away to downtown Sturgeon Bay where you will find breweries, wineries, awesome eateries, and shopping! But we don’t think you’ll want to leave the cabin once you arrive. If you like secluded privacy, gorgeous lake views and access, and an amazing time in Door County – Milky Way Hideaway is the PERFECT getaway for you! !!! 

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS: -Sleeping 8 guests with 5 beds – each bedroom has a ROKU TV for your enjoyment. *Primary bedroom: King bed with en suite bathroom *Bedroom 2: Queen bed *Bedroom 3: Twin over full bunk bed with a twin trundle underneath – 3 beds all together! TONS of kids toys and games in this room. – We also provide THREE pack-n-plays plus queen sized air mattress. *High quality linens, quilts, and pillows are included for all of the beds.*

BATHROOMS: -TWO full bathrooms. We provide bath towels – no need to bring your own!

LAUNDRY: -A full size washer and dryer are located onsite for your convenience! We do provide some laundry detergent.

KITCHEN: -Fully equipped with everything you need to make a meal! Pots, pans, cups, plates, silverware, cooking utensils, baby utensils and cups and high chair, toaster, microwave, crock pot, waffle maker, baking sheets and more! Everything you’ll need to make fabulous meals at the cabin.

COFFEE BAR: Totally stocked coffee bar with both regular and Keurig machines, coffee grounds & pods, sugars, creamers, and teas!

LIVING ROOM: Cozy up on the comfortable sectional couch with a gas stove, flat screen TV, tons of board games, and work space overlooking the lake! 3

SEASONS ROOM: -The 3 seasons room is the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee or tea, play a game of cribbage or just relax.

THE ADVENTURE SHED: -4 Kayaks, tons of bikes of all sizes, helmets and life jackets of all sizes, 5 fishing poles & gear, 2 strollers, outdoor games (ladder ball, spike-ball, bags set, washers, bocce ball), soccer balls, frisbees, footballs, and so much more are provided for FREE to use during your stay!

OUTDOOR AREAS: -Enjoy a totally private yard with a hot tub, deck, grilling station, outdoor seating, fire pit, a charcoal AND gas grill (we do not provide coals or monitor the tank), plus 100 feet of private waterfront access. Launch the kayaks and cast a line!

INTERNET: We are in a very remote area. We do provide Viasat wifi internet but because we are secluded it can be spotty! High speeds are not guaranteed!

KID/INFANT AMENITIES: We are excited to provide THREE pack ‘n plays, high chair, booster seats, kids/baby cups, bowls, plates, and utensils – as well as a baby monitors, noise machine, and more!

DOG AMENTIES: Dog crates, dog beds, leashes, stakes, toys, bowls and more for your furry friends! Dog fee is $50/day per dog, *FEE APPLIED AFTER YOU BOOK*

FIREPIT: -We provide a firepit for you to enjoy. We do not provide firewood but there are plenty of places nearby that sells firewood or you could have it delivered. Milky Way Hideaway is truly on the door steps of Door County plus close to Algoma! We are a short drive away from the destination locations your group is looking for!
